Avi's Modern Indian lunch returns to Vinoteca Marylebone on Sunday, 22nd September
A lazy Sunday lunch - the menu will feature a number of dishes inspired by the hot Indian summers - with lots of fresh salads and vegetables, delicate fish, spicy meat and a cooling dessert to end the meal.
Hand picked wines from Vinoteca's extensive list will be available to buy on the day.
Mini set dosa with red chilli and peanut chutney
Salad of fresh banana blossom, mung beans, cucumber & mint
Seafood Moilee with red mullet, mussels, prawns, yellow daterrini tomatoes & string hoppers
Roasted pork ribs with sweet tamarind, black pepper, chilli bay and fennel seeds

Born and raised in Bangalore, India, Avi moved to the U.K 15 years ago. He has worked at several prominent restaurants including the 2 Michelin starred Hibiscus in Ludlow and The River Cafe in London, where he worked for 10 years until Summer 2018.
After years of seasonal Italian cooking, he is re-visiting food from his roots in Southern India. He currently develops recipes for modern Indian food using authentic southern Indian flavours, with locally sourced seasonal ingredients. He has been doing pop ups across London, Berlin, Tuscany, Copenhagen and New Delhi.
